It takes a thief...

....to piss me the hell off! Didn't get that? Read the title of the blog. Anyhoo, why pissed off? Well this morning I was in bed I was warm and snug and happy because I knew I had the day off. It was about 6:30am or so. My husband said goodbye to me and left for work. I herd the door shut and then herd the lock click, I rolled over and got comfey. Suddenly the locked clicked open and my husband came bursting through the door. "Its happened again!" he shouted. I sat up and immediantly thought that the car had been broken into AGAIN! But no, some assface had broken into our storage above the car and had taken 3 tool boxes 4 decent tires, a saw, 2 car jacks and some ramps we use to drive the car up on when it gets worked on underneath. I couldn't believe it, this is the 3rd time we have been robbed and the cops and appartment managers all say the same thing. "Oh well." Its irritating that we have no coverage if something happens to us on this property. But I'm also wondering, shouldn't the appartment complex management have some sort of insurance for this kind of thing? The thieves are just getting away scott free with what ever they want. Luckily for us they didn't get all the nice tools. The jacks and the saw were the most important. The officer we talked with suggested that we go down to the local swap meet and see if we can find our stuff." He also said as a matter of factly, "Don't get your hopes up, but we get called down there alot because people find their stolen goods."
Well my husband plans on going early morning on Saturday when it opens and wants to walk all around, he etched his name in alot of stuff, so if its there he will find it. I hope he does, I can't go because I would get violent with the th
ief if we stumbled upon our stuff. Then I would get arrested for breaking knee caps. So just minutes after talking to the officer and having a chat with the management here my husband went to Home Depot and bought some 2x4's and a large sheet of plywood. We emptied out our storage just outside our front door and he built shelves in side it. It looks awesome! Heres a picture of the shelves in the making. I don't know if you can tell but thats not my husbands real face, his is a bit more white.
We emptied out what was left in the carport storage and put it in a safer place, right outside our front door.
Think evil thoughts of the thief or thieves. I hate them all!
Lillys rating: California still sucks!
